ART WEEK - Arte de Amate

This workshop is full, but you can join the waitlist here!

About Amate Art
Amate Art is a vibrant folk art tradition from Mexico, known for its bold colors, natural imagery, and the handmade bark paper it’s created on. Traditionally used to share stories and celebrate daily life, it continues to inspire artists today.

In this workshop, we’ll be creating our own modern take on Amate Art using markers and Amate paper. No experience needed—just come ready to experiment, play with color, and enjoy the process.

In honor of Downtown Fort Collins Art Week, and in conjunction with the Downtown Development Authority, Petrichor Collective is hosting a week of free workshops—led by local Artists and open to all.

We’ll be sharing the space, and the joy of making things together. Whether you’re trying something new or just looking for a good spot to unwind and create, you’re always welcome here.

We’re proud to be part of what makes Fort Collins creative—and to keep building a space where Art and community thrive.
