Artist

Lorene holds a PhD in Microbiology and after working as a research scientist for 20 years, she decided to ditch science and follow her creative heart. Today, she has many roles: A Senior Account Executive for a graphic Arts company, a Contemporary Abstract Artist, the Owner of Inception Flow, and a proud member of the Petrichor Collective family of Artists.

So, what to do with a creative heart and a scientific mind? Explore the synergy between Art and Science!

Lorene’s Artwork is strongly influenced by the natural world; the colors that heavy metals leave on a river bed, the chaos and destructive force of a tornado, the miraculous colors and textures of microbes growing in a Petri dish and so much more.

Along with her passion as an Artist, Lorene finds great joy interacting with her community. Through her fluid Art classes and community events, she strives to help others reconnect with their inner creative, especially those who don’t think they have one.

Digital Marketing

Taylor is a curious person, always seeking to learn something new. She graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in business. She is now a professional social media marketer for a global Biotech company. Her hobbies include photographing architecture and local cats, and loves to spend most of her time with her head in the Magellanic clouds- teaching herself new facts about astronomy, and telling them to anyone who will listen. At Petrichor Collective, she plans on launching a foodie blog covering regional vegetarian eats, as well as a podcast so that she has a space to absolutely geek out about another of her favorite things: coffee. Stay curious and caffeinated!

Writer

There's a lot of things Jack Delancey is- a decent writer, a good cook, a hot chocolate critic, a theatre goblin extraordinaire, one of those he/they users, a stray cat finder, an old man in a 21 year old's body, and a vampire enthusiast just to name a few. He dwells in the brighter corners of his room, plotting his next big project that he may or may not get to eventually. Oh, and he's the editor and intern for Petrichor Collective, if you couldn't tell by the Everything about him.

Filmmaker

Yo! Finding a creative way to enjoy the FoCo community doesn’t just include ranking the best fries, or baiting the coal rolling cruisers into a drag race on College ave… Community can also be found at work! Otterbox has been my work-fam for 7 years and counting. Currently a Sr. Video Specialist, but home grown from Customer Service. Making connection with customers, co-workers, and clients is my dream job. Now, I get to listen and tell peoples stories through my preferred visual experience, projected on the silver screen!

P.A., Grip/Gaffer, Camera-Op, Director, Editor, Snack Master, whatever it is I have done it, and will do it again and again on set. Each role is unique and engaging and the creative flow of a production is the dragon I love to chase. Yes, dragons are real, and also possible to kill online with my guild on WoW.

Becoming a member of Petrichor Collective ensures that everyday I get to enjoy the company of my best friends, and family! Better together truly is the best recipe for fulfillment. I couldn’t ask for a better way to start and end each day by being creative in my community.
